At the Jessie Albert Dental & Orthodontic Center we provide quality, comprehensive dental and orthodontic services to children, adolescents and adults of the greater mid-coast region. This includes preventive, restorative, orthodontic and emergency dental services. We also accept most major insurances, including MaineCare. Other financial options available.
Restorative services include: filling cavities; performing root canals; making crowns; extracting teeth; placing space maintainers; and treating early gum disease. Several services are directed to preventing cavities and other dental disease. These services include: education about the proper care of teeth; the role that good nutrition plays in dental care; routine dental check-ups; fluoride treatments; application of protective sealants; flossing and cleaning teeth; distribution of prevention and educational information to individual patients and assistance to local schools and Head Start centers implementing community oral health programs (click here for more information on oral health in Maine).
We provide orthodontic treatment to children, adolescents and adults. We utilize the latest technology, including growth appliances, braces, and Invisalign© (click here for more details). We recommend seeing an orthodontist by age 10. However, it is never too late to create the smile you deserve!
Make sure your children get the dental care they need. We provide important oral health education to our patients. Because our generation has fillings, root canals, bridges, and dentures, does not mean our children need to. Make a difference in their quality of life and get a great oral education.
The Jessie Albert Dental & Orthodontic Center maintains ongoing professional relationships with other dental specialists in the surrounding area to insure optimal care for our patients.
The Jessie Albert Dental & Orthodontic Center is open: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, and every other Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Patients are seen by appointment only, and 24 hour notice is expected to cancel all appointments.
We are committed to providing affordable dental care to our patients. Payment for services is accepted from MaineCare, some third party insurance, Care Credit© (Click here for more details), and private fees are eligible for use on a sliding fee scale. We accept cash, personal checks, and Visa and MasterCard as forms of payment. Depending upon family income, some children’s dental services may be eligible for MaineCare or a sliding fee scale. For adult dental and orthodontic services, we can accept cash, checks, credit cards or insurance payments.
The Jessie Albert Dental and Orthodontic Center is also involved in multiple outreach programs such as National Give Kids a Smile Day. On this day several area dentists come to the Center to provide free dental care to children. Also, through a partnership with the Oasis Health Care Clinic, the center provides space and equipment in the evenings for the free dental care for low income adults that have no dental insurance.
Jessie Albert is funded in part through the generosity of Northeast Delta Dental, Tom’s of Maine, Maine Bureau of Health, State of Maine Oral Health Program, and the communities of the greater mid coast region.
