Workplace Giving
Does your workplace offer a non-profit giving program? Can you request a donation to Catholic Charities be made by payroll deduction? Do you contribute to United Way? If so, please consider making Catholic Charities your designee. Contact your employer for information about giving to Catholic Charities Maine through payroll deduction.

CARS Program
Did you know you can donate an old car, boat, trailer, snowmobile and more — drivable or not — from anywhere in the world to Catholic Charities Maine?

By donating through our CARS Program, Catholic Charities will receive proceeds from your vehicle donation, and we make it easy!

Threads of Hope
Thrift Stores         
Upcycle your old things and do the right thing for our community and our planet! Our four Threads of Hope Thrift Store locations welcome donations of gently used clothing and linens such as sheets, comforters, blankets, pillow cases, bed spreads, and towels. We also accept household items such as knickknacks, books, artwork, and furniture that are in good condition.Please no: electronics, computer equipment, TVs, cribs, mattresses or box springs.

Yes, we will pick up! If you have large items to donate such as furniture, please call the store nearest you to schedule a pick-up.
