Employees may be provided up to six paid holidays for those holidays designated by Catholic Charities Maine in which the employee is normally scheduled and/or required to work the designated holiday. For example, if the designated holiday falls on a Monday, and the employee is scheduled to work Tuesday through Saturday (Monday is a day off), the employee does not receive pay for the holiday.

Holiday pay for Catholic Charities Maine employees normally scheduled or required to work the designated holiday will be the normally scheduled hours of work on the holiday. For example, if the employee is scheduled to work five hours a day, holiday pay will equal five hours.
