Parish Connections

Parish Connections efforts seek to build strong relationships with our Catholic Parishes throughout the state. Many Catholics are unaware of Catholic Charities Maine as the social service arm of the Catholic Church in Maine. Our mission is to bring alive the gospel of Matthew 25. In this way we share in the social ministry of the church with parishes by putting faith into action.

We can offer educational presentations and resources for parishes and the general public as well. Our parish outreach sharing information information about the services and activities of the ag, ongoing projects and need for volunteers or supplies with their fellow parishioners.

Periodically we speak at the masses in the churches to share information about how we are helping serve the needs of that community.

Ecumenical Relationships

As an agency that serves and employees people of all faiths and beliefs we strive to make connections with other faith traditions as well.
