St. Elizabeth's Child Development Center
At St. Elizabeth's your child/ren will be loved and well cared for (each and every day) in a safe, high quality, and educational child care setting. We pride ourselves on having a superior team of experienced professional educators to guide your child's learning, physical abilities and social/emotional development. We are partners with you in preparing your child for successes now, and when they enter school. For over 40 years our services have been dedicated to supporting families by providing full and part time child care which enables parents to work and/or receive an education. We are located in a historical down town facility. Please feel free to visit us any time.
St. Elizabeth's utilizes the Early Childhood Learning Guidelines for its curriculum and assessment as well as the Ages and Stages tool for developmental screening. We want to provide your child/ren with a developmentally appropriate early learning program while making it fun to be at the center.
St. Elizabeth Child Development Center also provide services to children who have special needs. Our professionally trained staff provides developmentally appropriate services for all children in an integrated, mainstream setting. Resource and referral services for children with special needs outside of the center is also provided.
We provide no religious education and the program has no requirements concerning religious matters for either staff or clients. We do, however, firmly believe that each individual child or adult has the fundamental right to be treated with dignity and respect.
Our Services
- Applied for: National Association For The Education Of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation. This is the highest quality rating standard for any center in the USA! We provide the absolute best child care!
- Full and part time child care for toddlers and pre-school children (18 months to 5 years) Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for the full year.
- Daily enrichment activities that are fun and encourage your child to explore and learn new things.
- Helpful parent support and referrals to outside community supports-upon request.
- We accept private fee paying parents, DHHS Vouchers, ASPIRE Vouchers, CDS clients and have a limited amount of sliding fee scale slots for income eligible families. ALL children are welcome!
- 2 beautiful, age appropriate, playgrounds.
- We are a participant in Early Reading First financed project.
- Our center is a secure facility. Parents are given pass codes to enter the building. Your child/ren's safety is #1!
- All teacher staff are CPR and 1st. Aid certified.
Program Goals

Food & Nutrition Program
Food and meal routines are important to young children. We participate in the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program and offer breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks at no cost to the parent. Our menus are designed by a registered dietician and prepared by our experienced cook.
Parent Involvement
We recognize the family as primary teachers of the children. We also recognize that it is in the best interest of children for parents to partner with us to maximize children’s healthy development. Parents are invited to spend time with their child upon their enrollment, volunteer in the classrooms, be a chaperone on field trips, and assist us in building maintenance parties.
