Welcome to the
Jessie Albert Memorial Dental Center

The Jessie Albert Memorial Dental Center is located at 171 Congress Avenue in Bath, Maine. We provide quality, comprehensive dental and orthodontic services to children, adolescents & adults of the greater mid-coast region. This includes preventive, restorative, orthodontic and emergency dental services. We also accept most major insurances, including MaineCare.

Prevention Services
Several services are directed to preventing cavities and other dental disease. These services include: education about the proper care of teeth; the role that good nutrition plays in dental care; routine dental check-ups; fluoride treatments; application of protective sealants; flossing and cleaning teeth; distribution of prevention and educational information to individual patients and assistance to local schools and Head Start centers implementing community oral health programs.

Treatment Services
Restorative services include: filling cavities; performing root canals; making crowns; extracting teeth; placing space maintainers; and treating early gum disease.

Referral Services
The dental center maintains ongoing work relationships with area professionals who provide specialized dental services. Referrals of more complicated problems are made to the appropriate specialist.

Make an Appointment
The Jessie Albert Memorial Dental Center is open: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Patients are seen by appointment. A 24 hour notice is expected to cancel all appointments.

Payments
We are committed to providing affordable dental care to our patients. Payment for services is accepted from MaineCare, some third party insurance, CareCredit, and private fees are eligible for use on a sliding fee scale. We accept cash, personal checks, and Visa and MasterCard as forms of payment. Depending upon family income, some children dental services may be eligible for MaineCare or a sliding fee scale. Unfortunately, we can only accept cash, checks, credit cards or insurance payments for adult dental services.

Community Outreach
The Jessie Albert Memorial Dental Center is also involved in multiple outreach programs such as National Give Kids a Smile Day. On this day several area dentists come to the Center to provide free dental care to children. Also, through a partnership with the Oasis Health Care Clinic, the center provides space and equipment in the evenings for the free dental care for low income adults.

Jessie Albert is funded in part through the generosity of Northeast Delta Dental, Tom’s of Maine, Maine Bureau of Heath, State of Maine Oral Health Program, Davenport Foundation, Mid Coast United Way, and Hannaford Brothers.
