Exactly why do you need x-rays?

Jessie Albert Dental Services - X-Ray

X-rays are the best tool we have for diagnosing cavities and are required before we can do any proper treatment of your teeth. The process is fast, easy, and completely safe.

We love helping people brush up on their dental care!

In addition to being great caregivers, we consider ourselves ambassadors of dental health. We are happy to share our knowledge of proper dental care and general health tips, and we encourage you to ask questions and seek our advice when you need it — after all, it’s our business to keep you smiling!

When should you bring your child to the dentist?

We recommend that a child visit the family dentist when they get their first tooth, while baby teeth are emerging, in order to alert you to any concerns about how the teeth and jaws are developing.

Did you know:

  • Tooth decay is the single most common chronic childhood disease, five times more common than asthma and seven times more common than hay fever.
  • Pain and suffering due to untreated dental disease can lead to problems in eating, speaking, and learning.
  • If untreated, oral diseases in children can lead to serious general health problems.
  • Children miss more than 51 million hours of school each year due to dental-related illness.
