Catholic Charities Child & Adult Care Food Program to Sponsor USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program

Portland, ME – Catholic Charities Maine Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) announces its participation in the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program. CACFP offers support, meal reimbursement and education to child care providers on healthy eating and physical activity to ensure children are provided with nutritious meals and snacks while in their care.

Meals are available at no separate charge to all enrolled children without regard to race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, gender identity, religion, reprisal, and where applicable, political beliefs, marital status, familial or parental status, sexual orientation, or all or part of an individual’s income is derived from any public assistance program, or protected genetic information in employment or in any program or activity conducted or funded by the Department.

Please Note:  When determining income at the monthly level, please use the following criteria:

Weekly Income x 4.333 weeks

Bi-weekly Income x 2.15 weeks
