Portland, ME – Todd Winship, Director of Child Care Services, is the recipient of the prestigious Marcia Lovell Award for Innovation in Early Care and Education presented by Maine Roads to Quality. The Award recognizes an outstanding individual or organization who makes significant contributions to the development of the early care and education field in Maine and who embodies the ideals for which its namesake advocated; including better lives for children; high-quality early education experiences; support for all children, including those most at risk and with disabilities and the belief that the arts are an integral part of early education programs.

“Todd has had such a positive impact on our Child Development Centers, we couldn’t be happier for him to receive this tremendous honor,” says Stephen Letourneau, CEO of Catholic Charities Maine. Winship has been with Catholic Charities Maine since 1979.
