September 10, 2011

Many of us feel the impact of addiction throughout our lives; through family members, friends, co-workers, schools. Catholic Charities Counseling Services in partnership with Milestone Foundation, Crossroads for Women, Day One and Serenity House is organizing an annual Walk for Recovery in celebration of National Alcohol and Drug Recovery Month to promote awareness of the issues involved with alcohol and drug addiction.

_
Please join the Power of Recovery and walk with us on Saturday, September 10.

The walk begins at Catholic Charities Counseling Services, 250 Anderson Street, Portland.

Registration will begin at 9:30 AM followed by a walk around the Eastern Promenade trail to the Ocean Gateway Terminal (3.2 mile round trip) at 10:00 AM.

**This is a free event with a suggested donation of $10.00 per participant.**

Free event t-shirts will be given to the first 250 people to register at the event. Free refreshments will be provided along with fun activities for kids of all ages.
