The Donation Assistant works with other volunteers and RIS staff to determine needs, source items, and prepare individualized donation packages for refugee families. Our welcome packages set new families up for the basics they need in a new home and include items such as sheet sets, pillows, blankets or bathroom needs like towels, a shower curtain, liner, and curtain rings, bath mat and toiletries.
The Donations Assistant also keeps the RIS inventory of household goods and seasonal clothing organized and ready to use. This position is perfect for those who enjoy shopping and organizing!
