Position Description: The volunteer serving as the Front Office Assistant will assist the two administrative assistants in the front office of Counseling Services by filing, answering and directing phone calls, handling medical records requests, preparing forms, unpacking office supplies, copying, assembling packets, and helping with other administrative duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Impact of Opportunity: By assisting with administrative duties and tasks, the Front Office Volunteer supports Counseling Services and its mission to provide resources to support the recovery of people with substance abuse, mental illness, and/or co-occuring disorders.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Training Offered: Catholic Charities Maine Agency Core Orientation and position-specific training on offices systems and processes

Time Commitment/Schedule: Flexible schedule of at least once or twice per week with a 6 month or longer commitment
