CCM’s Behavior Health Network to Present Living Well with Better Health Series

October 7, 2022

September 26, 2022, Fairfield, ME – Starting Thursday, October 6, Catholic Charities Maine’s (CCM) Behavioral Health Network’s Fairfield location will begin a six-week workshop series presenting strategies to manage health conditions and improve overall health and wellness. Working with Healthy Living for ME, CCM’s Behavioral Health Network will co-facilitate this interactive group workshop series designed to teach participants how to identify, develop, and pursue personal health and wellness goals in a safe, inclusive environment. The workshops will take place at 66 Western Avenue in Fairfield, Maine.

The goal of the workshops, which will take place every Thursday from 9:00 am to 11:30 am from October 6 to November 10, is to empower participants to increase self-efficacy and improve knowledge and beliefs around condition management, leading to positive behavior change and improved self-management of health conditions and related symptoms.

Led by two mental health experts, this series is ideal for adults with any health conditions, especially those with multiple chronic conditions, individuals with increasing health risks, and those seeking group support. Caregivers, friends, and family members are also welcomed to participate to support their loved ones.

“This is our first time doing this, and we are excited to use our combined expertise so that attendees can learn some tools to improve overall health and become empowered to be their own best medical/health advocates,” said Genny Evans, Clinical Supervisor of CCM’s Behavioral Health Network.

This series is free and open to all. For more information or to register, please contact Genny Evans, [email protected], 453-4368 extension 3177
