Dead River Company Donates $10,000 to Catholic Charities Maine for Fuel and Food Assistance

AROOSTOOK COUNTY -- Dead River Company has donated $10,000 worth of fuel and food assistance to Catholic Charities as part of their Share the Warmth campaign.

For four months, Dead River collected non-perishable food items at their nine offices throughout Aroostook County for a holiday season food drive with a goal of donating a dollar per pound of food they received up to $10,000. Half of this generous donation is designated toward fuel assistance and the other half for food assistance for families in need in Aroostook County.
