Help immigrant individuals and families pursue legal benefits that can help them to recover from the traumas, loss of their immigrant experience - by reuniting them with family, securing their legal status, providing work authorizations and ensuring their loved ones have a permanent and safe home here in Maine.

Through compassionate service we welcome the stranger with open arms, as he opens our hearts to an appreciation of world cultures.
Qualification and skills required: Regular week-day daytime hours, language skills (not required but helpful), computer skills (with PC programs and internet research), details oriented: ability to follow complex application forms and instructions, and people skills: customer service orientation.
Training offered: immigration law, refugee resettlement, and cultural competency.
Time Commitment/Schedule - Days only, no weekends or nights, 6 month minimum preferred, some flexibility.
Benefits: Knowledge of most up-to-date immigration practice, network of community partners in government, local ethnic communities, and local and national legal services.
